A young businessman had just started his own firm. Sitting there, he saw a man come into the outer office. Wishing to appear the hotshot, the businessman picked up the phone and started to pretend he had a big deal working.

   He threw huge figures around and made giant commitments. Finally he hung up and asked the visitor, "Can I help you?"

The man said, "Yeah, I've come to activate your phone lines."



젊은 사업가가 막 자기 사업체를 운영하게 됐다. 앉아 있자니 한 남자가 바깥 사무실로 들어오는 게 보였다. 대단한 수완가로 보여질 요량으로 젊은 사업가는 전화기를 들어 아주 커다란 대박 거래 건이 오가는 듯 폼을 재기 시작했다. 그는 어마어마한 숫자를 늘어놓으면서 엄청난 계약을 떠벌였다.

마침내 수화기를 내려 놓으며 그는 방문객에게 말을 건넸다. "뭘 도와드릴까요 ?"  방문객이 이르기를, "아 예, 사무실 전화선을 개통해 드리려고 왔는데요.”
